Programme: Pedro Meireles - Violin, Catrin Win Morgan - Violin, Felix Tanner - Viola, Ken Ichinose - Cello First Prize Winners of the 22nd Charles Hennen International Chamber Music Competition in Holland, 2007, the Galitzin Quartet was formed in 2003 at the Royal Academy of Music in London where they are currently Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellows. In samenwerking met de Zeistermuziekdagen (10 - 26 augustus 2007) www.zeistermuziekdagen.nl Programma: - Haydn Op.64. No.5 'The Lark' - Schubert Quartet D702 'Quartettsatz - Ravel Quartet in F Major The Lark is obviously the one most suitable to comply with the 'flight' theme, although Quartetsatz has similar but darker feel to it, and Ravel takes you to another place!
