Irene Reig is an alto saxophonist from Barcelona. She currently lives in Amsterdam, where she obtained her Masters in Jazz Performance at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Irene came into contact with music in her childhood and developed an interest in jazz in high school: from that moment on she was involved in various musical projects, both in Amsterdam and in Barcelona.
She released her first album, Views, during her stay in Philadelphia. She recently recorded a second album with her new project The Bop Collective. This band won the audience award of the Dutch Jazz Competition this year
