The Rode Hoed Foundation is a cultural debate center, located in a historic building on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam. The Rode Hoed organizes debates, lectures, conferences, literature and music programs for a wide audience, but other organizations can also be found here regularly. De Rode Hoed can also be hired for both business meetings and festive occasions as De Rode Hoed is also used for weddings.

With its debates, De Rode Hoed is a critical participant and stimulator of social and political discussions. De Rode Hoed strives for constructive and connective debates in which oppositions are bridged and new insights are created. 

De Rode Hoed is located in the oldest and largest preserved hidden church in the Netherlands. The name is derived from the red hat in the facade of the building where a hat factory once was located.
