When Lestari Scholtes and Gwylim Janssens had their first lessons with Sivan Silver and Gil Garburg in the summer of 2007, they could never have guessed it would mark the start of an intensive collaboration as teachers and pupils, friends and colleagues. Together, they make a unique combination: two grand pianos, eight hands. Leading the double duo programme is Felix Mendelssohn's First Symphony in a setting for two pianos and eight hands by Ferrucio Busoni.
