Noëlle  Drost

Noëlle Drost started playing the piano at the age of eight under the guidance of Bep Visser. In 2014 she was accepted at the School for Young Talent of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague to study piano with Marlies van Gent. Two years later she was a finalist of the regional final in Den Bosch at the Prinses Christina Concours, where she received third prize. Since September 2017, Noëlle started singing lessons with Charlotte Margiono and Irene Verburg. As a singer, she won in 2018 the Gaudeamus prize for the best performance of a contemporary piece at the Prinses Christina Concours and in 2019 she won a second prize in the regional finals and was invited to sing at the National Semi-finals of the competition. Noëlle sang as a soloist with the Atheneum Chamber Orchestra in the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague and performed in several concert halls like the Recital hall of the Concertgebouw and in the Hertz-zaal in TivoliVredenburg. In August 2019 she finished successfully the ‘Fortbilding’ at the Lichtenberger Institut für angewandte Stimmfysiologie in Germany. She is currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague in her first year of the bachelor Classical Voice in the class of Rita Dams and with pianist Maurice Lammerts-van Bueren. In 2020 she played in the opera Carattaco by J.C. Bach with Das Neue Mannheimer Orchester, where she sang the title role. With this orchestra she will also perform an opera in summer at the Grachtenfestival, and she will be a soloist with the ‘Brabants Project Orkest’ coming fall.
