Julius Lorscheider, born in 1999 in Hagen, Germany, took his first music lessons with him
father. After playing piano and organ lessons, he came into contact at the age of twelve
with the harpsichord. First he took lessons with Gregor Hollman and then in Amsterdam with Bob
van Asperen. He has also participated in various master classes, including at Pierre Hantaï,
Skip Sempé, Marieke Spaans and Elisabeth Joyé. Since 2017 he studies at the Conservatory in
Amsterdam with Menno van Delft harpsichord. As a soloist or chamber musician he was a guest in the
Philharmonie in Köln and at festivals such as the Barock festival Bad Arolsen, Musik festival
Sanssouci and the Stiepeler Claviertage.
