Julia Weeda is a versatile violinist and as a freelancer she is part of various chamber music ensembles with which she gives concerts throughout Europe. In addition, Julia is substitute in various orchestras from the Netherlands and Germany. She is a requested concert master and captain substitute with the Folkwang Chamber Orchestra Essen. Also, Julia is regularly part of the rebel collective Pynarello and is one of the regular faces on the concert stage in the Freiburg region. She is also a welcome guest as a soloist, for example she has performed with the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Dutch Wind Ensemble and arcademia sinfonica Balingen. After completing her bachelor's degree at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Peter Brunt, Julia studied as a fellow of the VSBFonds and the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg with Sebastian Hamann, where she graduated in 2018.
