Javier Rameix

Javier Rameix (Venezuela, 1991) had musical training from the age of 5 at the Conservatory of Music of Aragua State and from the age of 17 at the Utrecht Conservatory (HKU) with Maestro Sebastian Colombo and Alan Weiss, where he finished his Bachelor Degree with a 10. Currently he does a Master Program for solo performing at this school under the direction of Sebastian Colombo and Alan Weiss. Javier was a soloist at the age of 12 years old with the Orchestra Symphonic of Aragua State (Beethoven first concerto & “Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini” by Rachmaninoff). He was invited by Jose Antonio Abreu to perform in Caracas the Chopin piano concerto n. 1 with the “Teresa Carreño Orchestra” in 2011.

He gave concerts in Venezuela, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, etc. and in April 2013 Javier was invited to perform to the king and queen of the Netherlands. He also performed with Maestro Aldo Baerten (principal flutist of “Royal Flemish Philharmonic”) and Mikhael Zemtsov. In 2012 he had a master class of legendary pianist Arcadi Volodos. Javier won several prizes: “National Piano Competition Silvia Eisenstein”, and classification among the 20 young pianists in the world “Young Artists Piano Competition” at the Eastman College of Music - Rochester University, New York – USA and 1st Prize in the competition organized by the University of Barcelona (“Concurs de Primavera - 2012).
