Bass player Freek Cerutti gained years of experience in the live circuit of the Netherlands and Germany with Utrecht based live hip-hop sensation Illicit and later with the Amsterdam formation Bastian around synth legend and producer Bas Bron with whom he recorded two records. He has also released two studio albums with Lady Dandelion from Amsterdam and mainly performs semi-acoustic performances in an intimate setting. For the American artist Mark Lanegan, Freek played on his album Somebody's Knocking from 2019. In addition, Freek collaborates with Ethiopian singer Minyeshu and enters an exciting collaboration with soprano Brigitte van Hagen. Freek merges the classical repertoire with the subterranean low end of the Fender bass.
