FRANK SIERA (1989) is a writer and director. He graduated in 2012 from the Directing Course of the Maastricht Theater Academy with the self-written Spraakwater (which was translated into German in 2016 and into French in 2019). He wrote for the Veenfabriek, De Nationale Opera, mosquito firefly, the Schrijversgevang, De Kosmonaut, De Queeste and his own music theater collective KASSETT. His texts have been published in literary magazines Kluger Hans and Extra Extra and at De Nieuwe Toneelbibliotheek. In 2016 he won Verse Tekst with his text absurd. He directed among others at Theater Branoul, Toneelgroep de Appel, De Queeste, the Royal Conservatory, KASSETT and various music ensembles. In addition, he was a theater programmer at the Parksessies arts festival for a number of years.
