16-member wind ensemble that plays festive jazz and film music.
VIB: A cross-border formation that goes from one extreme to the other. VIB is a versatile band consisting of a drummer, sousaphone, trumpets, trombones, horns and a bugle. This young company touches the audience with their orchestral and cinematic compositions and knows like no other how to breathe new life into New Orleans jazz. All this under the inspiring leadership of conductor Marc van Kessel. The band performed with jazz legend Eric Vloeimans, among others, and performed on stages such as Jazz in Duketown and TivoliVredenburg.
