Gigi Jazz Club is a brand new band and proof that beautiful things can arise from unpleasant situations. During corona, these musicians who normally lead busy tour lives came together to make music. The band consists of seasoned, young band members, a number of whom play with greats such as Chef's Special, Gallowstreet, Son Swagga, Brass Rave Unit, the Night Service and the Red Light Jazz Society.
They play atmospheric, swinging jazz and blues, classics from the Great American Songbook and their own compositions. They like to keep the listener attentive through quick changes and interesting approaches, but always keep the groove intact. Because that's what Jazz is all about.
