Bassoonist Thomas Dulfer and saxophonist Deborah Witteveen are both up-and-coming talents in the classical music world. Starting from a young age, they won awards at the Prinses Christina Concours and were honored with the Classic Young Masters Award. Together they were part of the JongNBE, a starting place of the "Nederlands Blazers Ensemble". A close friendship in music developed and since 2017 they have been playing together. In recent years they have played at many concert venues, festivals and were heard several times on Radio4. In the 2022-2023 season they will be finalists of the prestigious 'Dutch Classical Talent', a talent development program with a tour of fifteen Dutch concert halls.
With great enthusiasm, they play a diverse collection of works from Bach to Piazzolla and from Rossini to Gubaidulina. Because of their special composition they almost exclusively play arrangements, whether or not written by themselves.
