Ensemble

Babylon Quartet is a dynamic and innovative ensemble that redefines what a string quartet can do. Their considerable repertoire spans from Haydn to Stravinsky, from Beethoven to Britten, from The Beatles and Radiohead to new commissions. Members of Babylon Quartet are also an engine of original content creation: they actively compose original works as well as create arrangements of existing music from a multitude of genres.

Winner of Het Grote Kamermuziek Prijs 2015 and recipient of Het Kersjes Fonds Strijkkwartet Stipendium 2016, Babylon Quartet has performed extensively throughout Netherlands, including recitals at Het Concertgebouw, De Doelen, TivoliVredenburg, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven and many others. Their performances have also been exceptionally well-received by audiences in France, Portugal, Austria and Lithuania.
