Ananta, Sanskrit for "infinite", lives up to its name with this varied program. Tabla player Heiko Dijker and violinist Lenneke van Staalen have played Indian classical music together for years, while Emmy Storms (violin) and Cynthia Liem (piano) explored the Western classical repertoire together. Last year, the two duos came together for the first time with their first concert as a quartet, during the Grachtenfestival 2019, blurring all the boundaries between the two styles, between East and West, between improvisation and composition.
