Trio Rambags, Stadshouders en Lijbaart seek a connection with nature, their tours and their travelling – discovering new cultures adds new colours to their musical repertoire. Poetry okays an important part as well. All this inspired a new musical narrative. Improvising with words of great writers, alternated by lyrics written by Sanne.
Three years ago this trio started playing together. Soon they discovered how their improvisational sessions led to a deeply felt alliance for making music together. Silence was an important element on which creation was founded. Silence provides space to listen to what the trio wishes to convey. While performing, Rambags, Stadhouders en Lijbaart are in search for a moment where a true composition comes into existence. In the Tuin van het Hilton Hotel guest musician Jesse Schilderink (saxophone) joins them in their quest.
