What can you do if your ship founders and you end up all alone on a desert island? How can you survive without the help of other people, in a world that you are unfamiliar with? With interactive humour, Ton Meijer tackles the tale of Robinson Crusoe. When Robinson gets hungry, he takes a look with the children at how you can grow your own food and generate your own energy. When the castaway is lonely, Ton gets the children to tell him some of their favourite memories. Ton and the children have a great time together, with absolutely nothing... a concept that is of course wildly at odds with our current culture of creature comforts.
