Beautiful and varied shows with special arrangements and unique compositions. Diverse musical backgrounds within the ensemble.
The strength of ArteVita is the combination of many different cultural and musical backgrounds. The mix of melancholic and moving Jewish-Russian expression, along with Balkan folklore influences, Portuguese Fado and passionate Argentine tango, all make ArteVita a unique fusion of artists. What is also unique are the beautiful arrangements and unique compositions of Leon Rusanovsky, the father of daughter Julia and son Arthur, played by the ArteVita ensemble in an intimate and unique chamber music setting. A varied program with the most beautiful virtuoso and lyrical violin repertoire, interspersed with folk music, world music and own compositions.
ArteVita is a young and enthusiastic ensemble that has been active since 2015. With 160 performances a year, they are very well matched and have a diverse and large repertoire on the program. They have given many concerts in the Netherlands and abroad, including a tour in London, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany. The ensemble's soloist, violinist Arthur Rusanovsky, is a young talented rising star. With his charismatic character and virtuosic violin playing, he can move many people. Arthur's recent activities have included soloing with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Magdeburg Philharmonic in Berlin. The ArteVita ensemble consists of five members. Julia Rusanovsky, born in the Netherlands to Russian parents, is the artistic director and principal of the ensemble.
