Warre Dendievel & Cyril Beijer

Trumpet & trombone in a garden by the water

Trumpeter Warre Dendievel and trombonist Cyril Beijer present a programme for two brass instruments, a combination for which relatively little repertoire exists. Precisely for that reason, the programme consists of their own arrangements and carefully selected works by, among others, Bach, Eugène Bozza, and Anthony Plog. The music ranges from Baroque polyphony to rhythmic contemporary pieces.

Cyril Beijer studies trombone at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Jörgen van Rijen, Pierre Volders, and Remko de Jager. He has played in youth orchestras such as the NJO and has gained experience with ensembles including the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Trumpeter Warre Dendievel has won prizes at various international competitions and has performed as a soloist with several orchestras in Belgium and the Netherlands. He has also played with the Belgian National Orchestra, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, and La Monnaie. Since 2025, he has been studying in Freiburg with Wim Van Hasselt.
