Sasha Berliner Quartet
Modern jazz with vibraphone
Live, Sasha Berliner presents a powerful and multi-layered form of contemporary jazz, with the vibraphone at its core, enriched by electronic effects, synthesizers, and unexpected sonic textures.
Her music moves freely between acoustic intensity and electronic experimentation. The result? A dynamic, boundary-pushing sound in which improvisation, tension, and atmosphere blend seamlessly together.
Sasha Berliner is a musician, composer, producer, and bandleader from San Francisco, California (USA). Originally a rock drummer, she discovered the vibraphone while studying at the Oakland School for the Arts, the instrument through which she developed her own distinctive musical voice.
In 2016, she moved to New York to study at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, where she was mentored by renowned vibraphonist Stefon Harris. His influence, particularly in the area of harmony, played a significant role in shaping her unique and recognizable style.
