Nata Roinishvili & Elene Gogodze
Violin & viola under the Rietveld dome
Two string players, three very different musical worlds. Mozart’s Duo in B-flat major reveals how playful and refined chamber music can be, while the Handel/Halvorsen Passacaglia is all about virtuosity and spectacular variations. Martinů’s Three Madrigals then introduces a more angular and rhythmic idiom, full of drive and unexpected turns. The programme highlights the versatility of the violin and viola.
Violinist Nata and violist Elene Gogodze belong to a new generation of musicians rapidly building international careers. Both have performed in venues such as the Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ and the Konzerthaus Berlin, and have won prizes at international competitions and festivals. Elene is a member of the LGT Young Soloists and combines her work as a violist with composing, while Nata is active in chamber music ensembles and will begin her studies at the prestigious Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid in 2026.
