Muziekkapellen Estafette: Puruñeka Duo

In the music pavilion of the Vondelpark, Puruñeka Duo presents an energetic percussion concert in which rhythm, movement, and interplay take centre stage. Expect a varied performance featuring marimba, vibraphone, and percussion, with a presentation that is as surprising as the music itself.

Puruñeka Duo consists of Spanish percussionist Tirso Ortiz Garrigós and Icelandic percussionist Matiss Leo Meckl. The duo was formed at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and regularly collaborates with dancers, choreographers, and artists from other disciplines. In 2026, they won the Grachtenfestival Conservatory Competition.

This concert is part of the Muziekkapellen Estafette. In collaboration with Stichting Muziekkapellen.
