Jong Talent in de Oude Wester: Katja Naegele

Katja is a promising violin talent who has already won awards at the Dutch Violin Competition and the Grachtenfestival. She studies at the Sweelinck Academy and has performed with the Fancy Fiddlers. Today, she will perform Haydn’s Violin Concerto in G and the moving Nigun from Baal Shem by Ernest Bloch.

In Young Talent in the Oude Wester, several emerging and promising musicians perform in Amsterdam’s iconic Westerkerk. Together with Evan Bogerd, the Westerkerk’s organist, a young talent presents a varied program filled with solo pieces and compositions performed alongside Evan.
