Hawijch Elders is a promising Dutch violinist who will fill the historic Gemeenlandshuis with her captivating sound. Her programme includes Bach’s First Sonata, Ysaÿe’s Fourth Sonata and Ernst’s virtuosic The Last Rose of Summer.
In May 2023, she won First Prize along with three special awards at the prestigious Henri Marteau International Violin Competition. Hawijch regularly performs as a soloist with leading orchestras such as the Residentie Orkest, Phion, and the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. Her many international accolades highlight her exceptional talent.
