Halfpastseven
Danceable jazz with hip-hop
Halfpastseven translates his productions into a live energetic and dynamic performance. Surrounded by keyboards, synthesizers, and beat pads, he brings a mix of trip-hop, house, and hip-hop to life, where warm jazz piano lines are alternated with heavy bass, spacey synths, and powerful breakbeats.
While his earlier work was known for dreamy lo-fi soundscapes, his focus is increasingly shifting from intimate listening music toward club-oriented energy. The result is a performance that is both immersive and danceable, where experimentation and groove come together and the audience is effortlessly drawn into his rhythmic world.
Halfpastseven is an emerging producer, pianist, and crate digger from Amsterdam with German roots. Inspired by the raw energy of the LA beat scene and artists such as Flying Lotus, he explores new textures and structures that steer his music toward more left-field and adventurous electronic directions. He is currently working on new material for 2026, using his live shows as a laboratory to test and further develop ideas from the studio.
