De Avond van het Grachtenfestival

Three nominees for the 2026 Grachtenfestival Prize take to the stage together for a final festival concert.Performing in a variety of ensembles, they present a programme featuring music by composers including Giovanni Bottesini, Jules Massenet, Pedro Velázquez, and Astor Piazzolla. Solo performances, duos, and collaborative works alternate throughout the evening. At the end of the concert, the jury will announce the winner of the 2026 Grachtenfestival Prize, who will be given a featured role at the festival in 2027.

The Grachtenfestival Prize is awarded annually to an outstanding young musician who combines a distinctive artistic vision with a compelling stage presence. The three 2026 nominees rank among the most promising emerging artists of their generation.
