Carolina Brusse & Azubike Onwuka

Brusse and Onwuka engage in an intimate musical dialogue in this concert, in which their different backgrounds come together. Together, they combine European classical music, Eastern modal traditions, West African rhythms, and electronic soundscapes into an enchanting set. During the performance, they play both original compositions and pieces that inspire them. In doing so, they create space for reflection, expression, and spontaneous interaction.

Carolina Brusse is a Dutch-Italian vocalist and composer known for her expressive and exploratory approach to music.

Azubike Onwuka is a bassist and composer from Amsterdam. In addition to performing with bands, he also appears as a soloist. In his music, he combines European classical music, Eastern modal traditions, West African rhythms, and electronic soundscapes.
