Armando Riquelme & Alessandro Tardino

Two musical worlds come together in this duo: Chilean violinist Armando and Italian pianist Alessandro met at the Conservatory of Basel and immediately discovered a shared passion for expressive chamber music.

Armando left behind a successful career in Chile to pursue a new future in Europe, recently graduating with honors from his master’s program. Alessandro is a highly sought-after pianist, winner of competitions such as the International Piano Competition in Lyon, with recordings acclaimed by BBC Music Magazine. Today, they perform works including Fauré’s lyrical First Violin Sonata.
