Historical building specialist Hans Tulleners leads you through 'The Nine Streets' that connect the four main canals. They are Ree-, Harten-, Beren-, Wolven-, Oude Spiegel-, Run- and Huidenstraat, the Gasthuismolensteeg and the Wijde Heisteeg. Most of these streets date from the beginning of the seventeenth century. Inconspicuous alleyways and small listed buildings, many of which were built as shops and are still in use as such, reveal their hidden treasures.
